Lessons Learned by Riley Keough

Riley Keough, star of the recent Hulu true-crime thriller series Under the Bridge, has learned a lot throughout her career. Some key insights she shared with Backstage-

What she takes into each project with her-
RK: The best environment to create in is a happy one. I really value working with people who I love and who feel free creating with.

Audition advice:
RK: I’ve been relentless. I’ve had people say no and I’m like, “Wait, let me tape again.” I’ve taped three times for roles. And do you know what? I booked a role that way.

Lessons learned the hard way:
RK: Not trying hard enough. When there was something I wanted when I was younger, I wouldn’t try my hardest because I wouldn’t want to be vulnerable. As I got older I realized: No, when I want something is when I need to try my hardest- which seems obvious, but sometimes you [hold yourself back to] protect yourself.

Quiz Time

With a new director (and possible title?) attached to Avengers 5, some people are already dizzy trying to remember every character they’ll need to for the next big Marvel installment. With that in mind, can you put the following Marvel films in correct MCU timeline order?

Iron Man
Doctor Strange
Captain Marvel
Shang-Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings
Spider-Man: Far From Home
Avenger: Endgame

Trends on your FYP

Variety’s Actors on Actors series is back with one of the most engaging pairings we’ve seen in a while- Quinta Brunson & Jennifer Aniston. The two sitcom stars discuss Aniston’s dramatic turn on The Morning Show and Brunson’s journey from Buzzfeed to network show runner. Beyond the obvious respect they both have for each other as professionals, the chemistry Brunson & Aniston show in their conversation makes us think these two need to work together ASAP.
